At Double Diamond Equine, we believe caring for horses is both a responsibility and a privilege.
Our story began the way many good ones do — with a Canadian horse who needed thoughtful support during seasonal skin challenges. Like so many dedicated owners, we searched for options that were gentle, well-formulated, and aligned with a balanced approach to care. What began as a personal search gradually evolved into something more: a carefully curated collection of equine skin care products we trust and value.
Today, we serve discerning horse owners across Canada who appreciate quality, clarity, and integrity in the products they choose.
It all started when as a Canadian horse breeder one of my gelding named "Nico,"developed a skin condition known as "Sweet Itch at the age of seven. After trying various topical products without success, I sought a natural remedy for my horse's condition and began researching alternatives. The impressive results from Animaderm Derfen lotion and cream motivated me to start selling Derfen in Canada. After several meetings with Animaderm's CEO, Double Diamond Equine became the exclusive distributor for the products in the country.
Double Diamond Equine has now expanded our natural equine care products to include Red Horse Hoof Products (UK) and Ravene (FR).

Animaderm is a French company that specializes in the research, development, and distribution of natural and ethical dermatological products for horses. At the end of 2023, Laboratoires Audevard acquired Animaderm to develop the brand and enrich it with its veterinary medical expertise. Animaderm enters a new era.
All Animaderm's products are formulated with natural ingredients to support the well-being of horses, addressing issues such as dermatitis, dry skin, mud fever, sunburn and skin irritation while promoting overall skin resilience.
