Since 2015, Double Diamond Equine has been committed to offering premium natural skincare solutions for horse owners across Canada. We take pride to be the exclusive distributor for Animaderm , a French company that specializes in the research, development, and distribution of natural and ethical dermatological products for horses.
Double Diamond Equine has now expanded our of natural equine care products to include Red Hoof Products (UK) and Ravene (FR).
About the founder
It all started when a Canadian horse breeder had a gelding named "Nico," who developed a skin condition known as "Sweet Itch at the age of seven. After trying various products without success, Nico's owner sought a natural remedy for her horse's condition and began researching alternatives. The impressive results from Animaderm Derfen lotion and cream motivated her to start selling Derfen in Canada. After several meetings with Animaderm's CEO, Double Diamond Equine became the exclusive distributor for the products in the country.
Animaderm is a French company that specializes in the research, development, and distribution of natural and ethical dermatological products for horses. At the end of 2023, Laboratoires Audevard acquired Animaderm to develop the brand and enrich it with its veterinary medical expertise. Animaderm enters a new era.
All Animaderm's products are formulated with natural ingredients to support the well-being of horses, addressing issues such as dermatitis, dry skin, mud fever, sunburn and skin irritation while promoting overall skin resilience.
