My gelding has suffered with sweet itch for years. I can't even name all the products we've tried. He has been on corticosteroid therapy for years until last fall when he started having significant side effects and the drug was discontinued. Since then, I've had him on spirulina and camelina oil and have been using Derfly as a barrier since late February. Usually by now he would be showing signs of itching and rubbing. So far, I'm amazed. He is one happy horse and I'm very happy, too!
